Schlecht earns Gymnast of the Week accolades after leading Ohio State to a victory at Ball State on Saturday. She turned in the meet's best score on the bars (9.800) and beam (9.750), while also placing third on the floor (9.325) as the Buckeyes registered their most lopsided season-opening victory since the 1992-93 season. Schlecht's 9.800 on bars was the highest score turned in by any student-athlete during the meet. The Marion, Ohio, native, becomes the first Buckeye to claim weekly accolades since Tiffanie Janke was honored on Feb. 11, 2004.
