Illinois, Ohio State and Penn State Receive Weekly Women's Gymnastics Accolades

Co-Gymnast of the Week
Illinois' Allison Buckley takes home Co-Gymnast of the Week laurels after earning the all-around crown and finishing in the top two in four events to help the No. 22 Illini tie No. 16 Ohio State on Saturday. Buckley marked season-highs in all four events en route to a 39.375 in the all-around. The senior tied for first place on the vault, scoring a 9.875. She followed with a trio of second-place finishes on the balance beam (9.850), floor exercise (9.850) and uneven bars (9.800). The award marks the third in Buckley's career.

Sharaya Musser, Penn State
Penn State sophomore Sharaya Musser turned in two first-place performances en route to the all-around title against New Hampshire on Saturday and Co-Gymnast of the Week honors. Musser scored a season-high of 39.400 in the all-around, taking first place on the vault (9.925) and balance beam (9.875) to help the Nittany Lions defeat the Wildcats. She also turned in second-place finishes in the floor exercise (9.850) and on the uneven bars (9.750)

Freshman of the Week
Ohio State's Sarah Miller earns Freshman of the Week accolades for the second time this season after winning titles in the floor exercise and on the balance beam and helping the 16th-ranked Buckeyes tie No. 22 Illinois on Saturday. Miller scored a 9.925 in the floor exercise and a 9.825 on the vault and added 9.825 on the vault, good for a tie for third place. The newcomer's scores on the beam and floor marked career highs.
