Brandi Personett garners her fifth career weekly laurel after capturing all four event titles, the all-around crown and the Ann Carr Award as the most inspirational gymnast of the meet in Penn State's 195.875-194.175 win over Michigan State on Saturday night. For the all-around title, Personett recorded a career-high 39.575, the seventh-highest individual all-around score in Penn State history. The Katy, Texas native also posted three season-high marks, including a 9.925 on vault, a 9.850 on beam, and a 9.925 on floor. Her 9.875 score on bars was also good enough to tie her career high. This marks the fifth weekly award for Personett, who was previously recognized once in her inaugural campaign (Jan. 10, 2007) and three times during her sophomore season (Jan. 23, Feb. 13, and March 26, 2008).
