Jenny Deiley shares Gymnast of the Week honors after leading the Wolverines to a dual-meet victory over Ohio State last week. Deiley claimed the beam (9.850) and the floor (9.875) titles, while also earning a first-place finish in the all-around with a score of 39.300. The Dayton, Minn., native earns her fourth career weekly accolade as she was last honored on March 8, 2005.

Laura Johnson, Minnesota
Sr., Albuquerque, N.M./La Cueva

Johnson won three of four individual titles, as well as the all-around to lead No. 20 Minnesota to an upset win over No. 7 Penn State last week. She notched a score of 9.850 for first place on the vault, the best mark by a Gopher gymnast this season. She also claimed first-place finishes on the bars (9.775) and beam (9.825). Johnson earns her first career weekly laurel and is the first Golden Gopher to be named Gymnast of the Week since Carolyn Yernberg was honored on March 16, 2005.
