Thuener-Rego was named Co-Gymnast of the Week after capturing her fourth consecutive bars title and finishing first in the all-around against No. 6 Nebraska and Illinois last weekend. The sophomore tumbler tallied a career-best score of 9.900 on the bars, before finishing second on the beam (9.800) and floor  exercise (9.875). Her all-around score of 39.400 was a career best and also the Wolverines' highest of the season. Thuener-Rego claims her second Big Ten weekly accolade as she also was honored on Feb. 8, 2006.

Rochelle Robinson, Michigan State
Fr., Chesapeake, Va./Indiana River

Robinson claims her second consecutive Gymnast of the Week accolade after becoming the first MSU tumbler to record a perfect record. She posted a 10.0  on the vault at the Fox Run Invitational last week. Robinson is just one of three gymnasts in the nation who have recorded a flawless score this season. She also posted a second-place showing in the all-around with a score of 38.875.
