Curtis wins her sixth Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honor and first of the 2010 season. The senior was the all-around winner in Michigan’s win against fourth-ranked and five-time defending national champion Georgia over the weekend. She finished in the top-three in three events, including a second-place finish on uneven bars (9.850), and third-place efforts on vault (9.875) and on the balance beam (9.850). Curtis also finished fourth on floor exercise (9.850) and won the all-around title for the third time this year and 10th time in her career.

Beilstein won her sixth Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor of the season after finishing first on the vault and second on the floor exercise in Michigan’s win against Georgia over the weekend. The freshman recorded a career-high mark on the vault, finishing with a 9.950 to win the event for the fifth time this year. She then went on to finish second in floor exercise, earning a mark of 9.875.
