Minnesota Clinches Share of Inaugural Big Ten Women's Gymnastics Regular Season Championship

Park Ridge, Ill. - With its 197.225-195.050 victory over Ohio State on Saturday afternoon, the Minnesota women's gymnastics team has clinched a share of the first regular-season Big Ten Championship. The Gophers completed the season with a 6-1 Big Ten record and boast a 16-3 overall record. In Saturday's dual meet against the Buckeyes, Lindsay Mable led Minnesota with two event titles in the vault (9.950) and floor exercise (9.950) en route to the all-around crown (39.525). Michigan clinched a share of the regular-season Big Ten Championship with its dual meet victory over Michigan State on March 2nd. The Wolverines completed their Big Ten slate with a 6-1 record and a 17-1 overall record. The 2013 Big Ten Women's Gymnastics Championships will be held Saturday, March 23rd at Jenison Field House on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.
