The 2013 Big Ten Women's Gymnastics Championships are underway from Jenison Field House on the campus of Michigan State University. The afternoon session is set for 1:05 p.m. ET, while the evening session is slated for 6:05 p.m. ET. Both sessions can be seen live on BTN.
The eight Big Ten teams have been split into the two sessions based on their season-ending regional qualifying score (RQS). The evening session will feature the top four teams in the conference, while the afternoon session will showcase teams Nos. 5-8.
Michigan earned the top seed entering the Big Ten Championships, holding an RQS of 197.175, which ranks fourth nationally. The Wolverines will be joined in the evening session by No. 2 Nebraska (196.840), No. 3 Minnesota (196.365) and No. 4 Penn State (196.365). The afternoon session will feature No. 5 Illinois (196.080), No. 6 Ohio State (195.825), No. 7 Iowa (195.600) and No. 8 Michigan State (194.605).
