Big Ten Women’s Gymnasts Set to Compete in NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Two Big Ten women's gymnastics teams and five individual gymnasts will represent the Big Ten at the 2016 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, which begin Friday and conclude on Saturday at Fort Worth Convention Center Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Minnesota, along with Michigan’s Nicole Artz and Talia Chiarelli and Penn State’s Briannah Tsang, will compete in Friday's first semifinal session at 2 p.m. ET, while Nebraska, along with Illinois’ Lizzy LeDuc, Iowa’s Mollie Drenth, Michigan’s Brianna Brown and Michigan State’s Lisa Burt will compete in the second session at 8 p.m.

The individual event champions will be decided in Friday’s semifinals, while the top three teams from each semifinal will advance to the NCAA Super Six Team Final, which gets underway Saturday at 8 p.m. All sessions of the championship will be broadcast live on ESPNU.
