NCAA Women's Gymnastics Champs Recap

ST. LOUIS -- The Big Ten Women’s Gymnastics season concluded on Friday evening, as both Michigan and Nebraska ended their seasons at the NCAA Championships. The Huskers finished fourth in the second semifinal session with a season-high score of 197.2125, while Michigan took fifth in the same session with a score of 196.4625. Listed below are the top finishers in each event for the Wolverines and Huskers, along with the scores of the individuals who competed in the semifinal sessions.

  • Bars: Brianna Brown and Nicole Artz, 9.9000
  • Beam: Paige Zaziski, 9.8875

NEBRASKA

INDIVIDUAL

SESSION I

  • Clair Kaji (IOWA) – finished T-17th on beam with a 9.8625
  • Angel Metcalf (IOWA) – finished 12th in the all-around competition with a 39.3125
  • Alexis Mattern (OSU) – finished 15th in the all-around competition with a 39.2000

 

 

SESSION II

  • Sabrina Garcia (PSU) – finished 20th in the all-around competition with a 38.6000
  • Briannah Tsang (PSU) – finished 13th in the all-around competition with a 39.1000
