ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Two Big Ten women's gymnastics teams and five individual gymnasts will represent the Big Ten at the 2015 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, which begin Friday and concludes Sunday at Fort Worth Convention Center Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Michigan, along with Illinois' Mary Jane Horth, Sunny Kato and Giana O'Connor and Minnesota's Lindsay Mable, will compete in Friday's first semifinal session at 1 p.m. CT, while Nebraska and Ohio State's Taylor Harrison will compete in the second session at 7 p.m.
The top three teams from each semifinal will advance to the NCAA Super Six Team Final, which gets underway Saturday at 6 p.m. In addition, the top four individuals in each event from both semifinal sessions, including ties, will advance to the individual event finals at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Last season, Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska and Penn State took part in team competition, while gymnasts from Minnesota competed in the all-around and individual events. Big Ten gymnasts posted seven top-10 finishes during the individual event finals of the 2014 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships.
