The Big Ten women's indoor track & field season gets underway this weekend with Indiana, Michigan and Ohio State all competing at home on Saturday.

The two-time defending Big Ten Champion Wolverines host the Michigan Women's Open while the Hoosiers begin their campaign at the Indiana Open. The Buckeyes will race in intrasquad time trials.

The remaining seven conference squads will open their indoor seasons the weekend of Jan. 12-13.

Four of the Big Ten's 10 teams are listed in the most recent Trackwire 25, which projects team scores in the NCAA meet. Michigan leads the conference in 10th while Minnesota follows in 12th. Iowa is in a tie for 13th while Illinois is listed 18th.
