Big Ten Women's Indoor Track and Field Season Opens This Weekend

The 2006 Big Ten women's indoor track and field season gets underway this weekend with Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio State all opening the year at home on Saturday. 

The Defending Big Ten Champion Michigan will compete in the Jack Harvey Invitational, while the Hoosiers and the Golden Gophers will host the Hoosier and Minnesota Open, respectively.  Ohio State will begin the year in Columbus, Ohio as the Buckeyes host the OSU Time Trials.

The remaining five league schools begin their 2005 campaigns on January 13-14.
