TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Tiffany Ofili, Michigan
So., Ypsilanti, Mich./Ypsilanti
Ofili posted an NCAA provisional time in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.24, resetting her own Michigan Indoor Track record. The sophomore also posted solid times in the 60-meter dash (7.56), the 200-meter dash (24.55) and the long jump. (19-1 1/2). The award is Ofili's first career honor.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Lena Bettis, Penn State
Jr., Riverside, Calif./J.W. North
Bettis captured titles in the long jump and triple jump and ran a leg of a record-setting sprint relay at the Penn State Relays last weekend. The junior was a quarter-inch off her personal best in the long jump with a jump of 5.75 meters and secured the title in the triple jump with a distance of 11.93 meters. Bettis then helped her spring medley relay team to a new school, facility and meet record at 3:25.52. This marks Bettis' first career weekly honor.
