The conference office announced on Monday the second weekly women's indoor track and field awards for meets through January 11-17. Fawn Dorr returned the weekly track laurel to State College, Pa., for the second consecutive week while Minnesota's Alicia Rue earned the Gophers their first weekly field honor of the season.

Fawn Dorr provided an exciting finishing kick in the last 100-meters to win the 400-meters in a personal-best and NCAA provisional-qualifying mark of 53.32 at the Penn State Northeast Challenge on Saturday. Dorr's mark is the second-fastest in the NCAA this year. The Nittany Lion senior then turned in a second provisional performance, anchoring the winning 4x400-meter relay, which clocked 3:39.13 to take top honors amongst solid sprint competition. Dorr also came back to post a personal best in the 200-meters, clocking 24.16 and finishing second overall as the top collegiate competitor.

Alicia Rue, Minnesota

Senior Alicia Rue captured her second pole vault title of the season, clearing a season-high of 4.31 meters at the Minnesota Open on Saturday. The winning effort marked the second NCAA automatic qualifier of the 2010 campaign for the Plymouth, Minn., native. This is the first weekly award for Rue on the year, and her sixth overall.
