Big Ten Women's Lacrosse Set To Begin This Weekend

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The 2018 Big Ten women’s lacrosse campaign gets underway this weekend when all seven teams begin their competitive seasons.

On Friday, Johns Hopkins hosts Marquette at 2 p.m. and the Wolverines travel to Jacksonville, Fla. to take on No. 16 Colorado at 5 p.m.

On Saturday, No. 11 Northwestern hosts Canisius at 1 p.m., Ohio State visits No. 10 Navy at 1 p.m., No. 4 Penn State travels to Towson at 1 p.m. and Rutgers plays at Temple at 1 p.m.

No. 1 Maryland welcomes William and Mary on Sunday at noon and Michigan takes on Jacksonville at noon in Florida. Northwestern hosts Detroit Mercy at 3 p.m.

The 2018 Big Ten Women’s Lacrosse Tournament will be hosted by Michigan on May 4 and 6. The tournament will feature a four-team field, with two semifinal games on Friday and the championship game played on Sunday.
