Women's Lacrosse Tournament Quarterfinals

Rutgers and host Northwestern advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament after defeating Ohio State and Michigan, respectively. The Scarlet Knights posted an 11-10 win over the Buckeyes in the second overtime, while Northwestern pulled away from the Wolverines, 20-5.

Kristina Dunphey and Amanda Turturro both recorded hat tricks, including Turturro's game-winning goal at the 2:05 mark of the second overtime. The Scarlet Knights posted their second overtime win over Ohio State this season.

The game was tied, 6-6, at halftime, and 10-10 at the end of regulation. Rutgers goaltender Biance Dente played all 63:00, making nine saves, including six in the second half.

Ohio State was led by Molly Wood, who scored three goals and added a pair of assists.

Northwestern jumped out to a 2-0 lead less than three minutes into the game and never looked back in a 20-5 win over Michigan. The Wildcats led 13-3 at halftime and outscored the Wolverines in the second half, 7-2.

All-Big Ten standouts Kaleigh Craig and Selena Lasota both recorded hat tricks, and Lasota added three assists. In all, 12 Wildcats scored at least one goal. Michigan was led by Bianca Brueckner and Kimberly Coughlan, who each contributed two goals.
