The 2009 edition of Big Ten women’s rowing takes to the water this weekend with one conference team in action.
Michigan State kicks things off with a mid-week matchup against Clemson and again on March 14 against Virginia.
Indiana and Wisconsin will join the the Spartans in competition in three weeks as both teams open the 2009 campaign at the Longhorn Invite in Austin, Texas on March 20-21.
The Wolverines will open their season on March 28 when they travel to Princeton, N.J. to race nationally-respected programs in Princeton and Brown.
The remaining conference teams will begin their respective seasons in the coming weeks. The season's first Boat of the Week selection will be announced on Tuesday, March 17.
