Defeated: Louisville at Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Notes: Minnesota opened up its 2005 spring season with a clean sweep over Louisville on Sunday at Oak Ridge, Tenn., as the Golden Gophers claimed all four events contested. The First Varsity Eight boat defeated the Cardinals with a time of 6:40 to 6:42. Members of Minnesota's winning crew were Megan Flannery as coxswain, Beth Ratterman at stroke, Cheryl Wick, Jillian Casey, Vilma Stragyte, Laura Jatautaite, Lida Storch and Berit Tomten at bow.
