Big Ten Enjoys Successful First Day at 2010 NCAA Rowing Championships

All three Michigan boats advanced to the semifinals at the 2010 NCAA Rowing Championships on Friday.

Four Big Ten teams enjoyed a successful first day at the 2010 NCAA Rowing Championships on Friday, with three schools advancing all three boats to Saturday’s semifinals on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. During Friday’s competition, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin earned places on the second day of competition.

Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin advanced boats to the semifinals of the first varsity eight, second varsity eight and first varsity four, while Ohio State’s second varsity eight boat moved on to Saturday’s semifinals.
