GOLD RIVER, Calif. - Three Big Ten boats advanced to the grand finals at the NCAA Rowing Championships after placing in the top three of their respective semifinal races on Saturday. Michigan State will race in the first varsity eight grand final, while Ohio State will compete in the second varsity eight final. Wisconsin will send its first varsity four to Sunday's final.

The Spartan first varsity eight placed third in its semifinal race, while the Buckeyes earned the same finish in the second varsity eight semifinal. The Badgers took second in their first varsity four semifinal.

The final day of the NCAA Rowing Championships gets underway at 9:50 a.m. PT on Sunday with the first varsity eight final set for 12:05 p.m.
