After the first day of competition at the 2009 NCAA Rowing Championships, the field is set for the semifinals in the three Division I events at the Cooper River Park site. All Four Big Ten squads, including Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin, will advance to the semifinal races, schedule to take place on Saturday morning, with the finals set for Sunday. Villanova University is hosting this weekend's championships.
