Through Tuesday, the Big Ten will highlight each of the 24 student-athletes nominated for the conference's Athlete of the Year awards. Award winners are voted on by a pre-selected media panel and will be announced next week.

Nairn garnered Big Ten Midfielder of the Year accolades and first-team NSCAA All-America honors after leading Penn State to its 15th consecutive Big Ten Championship and a 10-0-1 mark in conference play. The M.A.C Hermann Trophy finalist paced the Nittany Lions with a team-high 46 points on 17 goals and 12 assists this season and led Penn State to its first ever national championship game. Nairn finished her career as a four-time first-team All-Big Ten selection, a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and second on Penn State's all-time assists list.
