Indiana, Michigan and Penn State have earned Big Ten women's soccer weekly awards, the conference office announced on Monday. Indiana midfielder Lisa Nouanesengsy takes home Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Wolverine defender Holly Hein earns Defensive Player of the Week laurels. Penn State's Mallory Weber receives the nod for Freshman of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week
Lisa Nouanesengsy, Indiana
M - Jr. - Huber Heights, Ohio - Wayne 

  • Led her team to wins over Arkansas State (3-0) and Ohio (4-2)
  • Tallied eight points on four goals for the week, including a hat trick in the season opener
  • Scored four times on nine shots on goal
  • Earns the first weekly award of her career

Defensive Player of the Week
Holly Hein, Michigan
D - Sr. - Castaic, Calif. - West Ranch

  • Led the Wolverine defensive effort to two shutout victories over Fordham (5-0) and Pittsburgh (1-0)
  • Two opponents combined for just 11 shots on goal
  • Scored her fourth career goal on a penalty kick versus Fordham
  • Earns the first weekly award of her career

Freshman of the Week
Mallory Weber, Penn State

  • Tallied two goals, including the game winner, in the Nittany Lions season opening win over No. 7 Virginia
