PARK RIDGE, Ill. -The Big Ten women's soccer season officially opens on Friday, August 31, with all 11 conference squads in action. Michigan State is set for the national spotlight as the Spartans' game against Syracuse will be televised by the Big Ten Network. The contest is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET and will be aired on Monday at 8 p.m.

Illinois, Michigan State, Ohio State and Purdue all open their seasons at home, while Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State and Wisconsin all hit the road to start the 2007 campaign.

A complete listing of women's soccer contests to be broadcast nationally by the Big Ten Network will be released at a later date.
