Offensive Player of the Week
Tiffany Weimer, Penn State

Weimer tallied four goals, including both game-winners on the weekend, helping the Nittany Lions claim a Penn State Classic championship.  The forward scored her third collegiate hat trick against No. 20 Washington in Friday's competition. She recorded the game-winning goal vs. No. 9 Connecticut on Sunday. With eight points in two contests, she moved into second in Penn State's all-time career points record at 153. The senior is 19 goals away from the school record for career goals. Weimer was 2004 Big Ten Player of the Year and has been named to the 2005 M.A.C. Hermann Trophy Watch list this season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Megan Tuura, Michigan

Tuura was named Defensive Player of the Week after recording a career-best 12 saves and helped hold No. 23 Kansas to one goal this weekend. The Wolverines were out shot by Kansas 36-10 but managed to end in a 1-1 tie after a double-overtime bout. The junior goalkeeper recorded eight saves in the final 45 minutes of regulation and three stops in the second overtime.
