Offensive Player of the Week

Tiffany Weimer, Penn State

Weimer was named Offensive Player of the Week after her all-tournament team performance at the UConn adidas Classic this weekend in Storrs. The junior forward scored two goals, including the team's first score against No. 8 Connecticut in a 2-1 double overtime win. Her second goal came in the 81st minute as Penn State defeated Harvard 1-0. Weimer currently leads all Penn State scorers with seven points.

Defensive Player of the Week

Erin Carlson, Michigan State
SR, GK, Portage, Mich./Central
Carlson was named Defensive Player of the Week after a strong performance this weekend as Michigan State posted wins over Bowling Green and Kentucky. The senior goalkeeper recorded 13 saves and allowed just one goal in 180 minutes of play. She tallied five saves against Bowling Green in a 3-0 victory for her second consecutive shutout win of the season and added eight saves in a 5-1 win over Kentucky.
