Shauna Stapleton, Purdue

Stapleton scored three of Purdue's four goals as the Boilermakers went 2-0 at the Nike/Husky Invitational. The senior netted the game winner as Purdue upset No. 1 Portland, marking the first time since 1999 that a Big Ten school knocked off a top-ranked opponent. Stapleton also scored twice in the Boilermakers' 3-1 victory over Washington to open the tournament, marking the first multi-goal game of her career. The weekly honor is Stapleton's first.

Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Lauren Robertson, Ohio State

Robertson recorded three shutouts last week, registering 13 saves. The sophomore also assisted on the Buckeyes' final goal in their 3-1 win over Wright State on Tuesday. The sophomore has helped Ohio State to a conference-best 5-0 record with four shutouts, and leads the Big Ten with a 0.39 goals-against average. The award is the second of Robertson's career, as she was also honored last season in her first weekend of collegiate competition.
