Offensive Player of the Week

Tiffany Weimer, Penn State

Weimer was named Offensive Player of the Week after recording her second career hat trick and adding an assist as Penn State blanked Conference foe, No. 16 Wisconsin, 4-0 on the Badgers' home turf on Friday.  The Lions also played James Madison to a 0-0 tie on Sunday.  The junior forward currently leads the team with eight goals and 19 points

Defensive Player of the Week

Lauren Lamping, Indiana
SO, D, St. Louis, Mo./St. Joseph's Academy
Lamping was named Defensive Player of the Week as she contributed to a 2-0 week for the Hoosiers against Conference opponents.  The sophomore defender led an Indiana defense that allowed just six shots over the weekend.  The Hoosiers downed Minnesota, 2-1, in overtime on Friday and defeated Iowa by the same score on Sunday.  This is the first time Indiana has started out 2-0 in Conference play since 1996.
