Offensive Player of the Week
Aubrey Aden-Buie, Penn State
JR, F, Allentown, Pa./Parkland
Aden-Buie has been named Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career after a three-goal weekend performance as Penn State topped Michigan State, 3-2, in overtime and Michigan, 4-1. Against the Spartans, the junior forward hit a penalty kick after being taken down in the box to help the Lions claim their first Big Ten victory of the season. She went on to net two goals on Sunday against the Wolverines and is now leading the PSU offense with six total goals and 10 points thus far. This is the first weekly honor for Penn State in the 2006 campaign. Senior forward Ali Krieger was the last Nittany Lion to earn the award as she did so on Oct. 31, 2005.
