Offensive Player of the Week

Dobbyn was named Offensive Player of the Week after tallying four goals last weekend, including her first two two-goal games of her career. The sophomore led the Wolverines to an undefeated weekend with victories over Ohio State and Oakland. She recorded two goals on six shots and one assist against the Buckeyes before scoring two goals against Oakland, including the game-winner in a 3-2 victory. Michigan opened the conference season undefeated and will take on Indiana and Purdue this weekend.

Hannon earned the Defensive Player of the Week award as she anchored the Spartan defense in a 1-0 shutout over Ohio State, giving her team an undefeated record in Big Ten play thus far. The sophomore helped keep the Buckeyes scoreless by notching a save after clearing a shot on goal. Michigan State is now 5-2-3 and 1-0 in the Big Ten and will take on Purdue and Indiana this weekend.
