PARK RIDGE, IL - The Penn State women's soccer team clinched its seventh straight Big Ten Championship with a 2-0 win against Minnesota on Sunday.  The victory also secured the Nittany Lions the top seed in this year's Conference Tournament.

Under fourth-year head coach Paula Wilkins, Penn State is currently 9-0 in League play and 13-1-1 overall.  The squad will be honored with a trophy presentation when it closes out its Conference schedule against No. 12 Ohio State on Friday at 7 p.m. 

The No. 3 Nittany Lions are the top-ranked Big Ten team in the NSCAA/adidas National Rankings released Tuesday. 

The 2004 Big Ten Women's Soccer Tournament will be held November 4-7 at The Ohio State University.  College Sports Television (CSTV) will broadcast live the title game at 2:30 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, Nov. 7.  For complete tournament coverage, including live scoring updates and game recaps, visit the Conference website at www.bigten.org.
