Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Tiffany Weimer, Penn State

Weimer collects Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors after tallying three goals last weekend in a pair of Conference wins. She continued her Big Ten scoring streak, tallying two goals in an 8-0 win at Iowa and adding another goal in a victory at Minnesota, 2-0, on Sunday. The win against the Golden Gophers gave the Nittany Lions their seventh straight regular season Big Ten title. The junior forward earns her fifth offensive honor of the season.

Lara Dickenmann, Ohio State
FR, F, Kreins, Switzerland/Obergymnasium
Dickenmann shares the Co-Offensive Player of the Week award recording five points in two Conference road wins last weekend. She tallied an assist against Minnesota, 4-0, and notched a goal and three assists in a 4-1 win at Iowa. The freshman forward has 20 points on the season with a team-leading eight assists.

Defensive Player of the Week

Erin McLeod, Penn State
JR, GK, Vancouver, Canada/Southern Methodist
McLeod earns her first Defensive Player of the Week award after shutting out two Conference opponents over the weekend. She recorded three saves in a win at Iowa, 8-0, and four against Minnesota, 2-0. The win over the Golden Gophers helped Penn State clinch its seventh straight regular season Big Ten title. McLeod has been a presence in goal for the Nittany Lions, allowing just one goal in League play this season.
