Ella Masar, Illinois

Masar netted two goals this weekend, both in a 3-0 upset over No. 24 Indiana. The senior forward leads the team in scores with eight and has racked up four game-winners on the season. Masar's three-shot performance on Sunday fell short in a 2-1 loss to No. 8 Purdue. The Urbana, Illinois native collects her third career weekly honor and second of the season.

Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Players of the Week
Lauren Johnston, Northwestern
Sr., GK, Denver, Colo./Denver East
Johnston picked up her third shutout in four games this season with a double overtime tie against Michigan on Friday. The Denver native stopped four shots on goal and even endured a kick to the face, consequently causing a black eye. On Sunday versus Michigan State, Johnston managed two saves and a pending shut-out until the 48th minute of play. The senior goalkeeper had to leave the game early after she was struck-down in the goal box. The Wildcats held for the team's seventh shutout on the season. Johnston earns her first career Defensive Player of the Week.

In a stunning upset, Kallman and the Minnesota defense held No. 8 Penn State scoreless for the 1-0 double overtime victory. The freshman defender helped smother the conference's highest scoring offense and forced only the second PSU shutout all year. On Friday, the Woodbury, Minn. native played strong for 95 minutes in 2-1 losing effort against Ohio State. Kallman takes home her first career weekly award.
