Offensive Player of the Week
Allie Long, Penn State
SO, MF, Northport, N.Y./Northport

Long earned her first career Offensive Player of the Week selection after leading No. 9 Penn State to its ninth straight Big Ten Championship with two conference wins over the weekend. The sophomore scored the Lions' second goal in a 3-0 victory over Wisconsin on Friday. Two days later, Penn State trailed Northwestern by one until Long used her only shot of the day to tie the game in the 69th minute. A few minutes later, she delivered an assist on Denay Riley's game-winning goal to complete
the comeback and capture the conference title.

Defensive Player of the Week
Emily Zurrer, Illinois
SO, D, Vancouver, B.C./Cowichan Secondary

Zurrer propelled Illinois to back-to-back shutout victories over nationally-ranked Purdue and Indiana squads. The sophomore stopper kicked off the weekend slate by defending the Big Ten's
most potent scorer, Parissa Eyorokon, in a 2-0 defeat of the No. 17 Boilermakers. With the 1-0 win over No. 21 Indiana on Sunday, Zurrer led a staunch Illini defense that surrendered only six shots on goal and did not give up a goal in 180 minutes against two ranked opponents.
