Offensive Player of the Week

Weimer collects Offensive Player of the Week honors after breaking the Big Ten career record for goals by scoring her 82nd and 83rd last weekend. The senior also extended her consecutive games scoring streak to 17-straight, tying her for the NCAA record for consecutive game with at least one goal each with Portland's Christine Sinclair, however Weimer's streak is the only one to remain active. The forward has netted 26 goals in 23 games while claiming her fourth weekly honor this season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jones earns her first-ever Defensive Player of the Week award after recording nine saves last weekend. The junior goalkeeper recorded five saves in a 2-1 double-overtime victory over Big Ten rival Ohio State. Against Loyola, Jones made four saves and allowed only one goal. The Wildcats remain in the hunt for a Big Ten Tournament berth as they host Wisconsin Friday at 3 p.m. CT.
