In the Nittany Lions’ 2-1 win over No. 23 Indiana, Toney opened the game in the 21st minute with a strike for her 10th of the season. Three days later, Toney launched the scoring-run once again against the Boilermakers, this time in the 13th minute with her 11th goal of the year. The junior forward capped the day with a breakaway goal for her 12th of the season, sending her to the top of the charts in goals and points (30) on the team, both of which are career highs. Toney now leads the Big Ten in goals and points, and is also tied for first in game-winners with four. This marks the second weekly laurel for Toney in 2009.
