After celebrating at least a share of their 12th-straight Big Ten championship on Friday, the No. 22 Penn State women's soccer team captured the outright title by defeating Michigan 2-0 on Sunday.  With the conference crown secured, the Nittany Lions garner the Big Ten automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

PSU becomes only the second Big Ten women’s program to achieve the 12-conscutive milestone, joining the Michigan swimming and diving teams (1987-1998) in conference annals. The Nittany Lions finish the regular season with a 12-5-2 record, amassing an 8-1-1 mark in conference play.

All 11 Big Ten women's soccer teams await to hear their postseason fate Monday night when the NCAA Selection Show reveals the bracket on ESPNews at 8 p.m. The Nittany Lions are in prime position to earn a national seed and possibly host the first two rounds as it currently sits 10th in the NCAA RPI and atop the Big Ten. First and second round games are set for Friday, Nov. 13 and Sunday, Nov. 15, respectively.
