Player of the Week
Anastasia Miller, Wisconsin 
SR, OF, Elburn, Ill./Kaneland

Miller posted a team-leading .615 batting average (8-for-13) with four RBI at the Palm Springs Classic last weekend to earn Player of the Week accolades. She went 2-for-2 with a walk and scored the game's only run in a 1-0 victory over No. 23 Long Beach State. The senior outfielder then collected another two hits and drove in two runs, including a game-tying home run to help UW rally from a 5-0 deficit versus 18th-ranked Oregon State. Miller concluded the tournament hitting .750 (3-for-4) with two RBI and her second home run of the weekend in a 9-5 victory over Utah.

Pitcher of the Week
Courtnay Foster, Northwestern 
JR, P, Tucson, Ariz./Sahuaro

Foster had a hand in all three of NU's victories over ranked teams at the Palm Springs Classic, racking up 31 strikeouts in 21 innings pitched while allowing just a single run for a 0.33 ERA. Against No. 23 Long Beach State, she tossed a three-hit shutout, while fanning 12 batters. Foster then followed with a scoreless final inning in the nightcap against Washington to earn the save. After taking a tough loss against Arizona State despite allowing just one run on three hits with eight strikeouts, the Tucson, Ariz. native finished the weekend by claiming a 10-1 victory over No. 20 Pacific,  tallying 10 K's in six innings of relief.
