Player of the Week

Marder earns her third career weekly honor and second of the season after her performance last weekend in the Capital Classic in Sacramento, Calif.  Marder batted .438 (7-for-16) with a double, home run and four RBI as Ohio State went 3-2 in the event.  The Calabasas, Calif., native returned to her home state slugging for a .688 percentage and a .571 on base percentage.

Pitcher of the Week

Jackie Hill, Penn State
Fr., P, San Jose, Calif./Leigh

Hill went 3-1 with a save and an ERA of 0.27 in 25.2 innings of work last week for the Nittany Lions.  She had three complete games with two shutouts in her three starts and two relief appearances.  The San Jose, Calif., native gave up just one run and struck out 11 batters, walking only two.  This is the first weekly honor of Hill's career.
