The conference portion of the 2010 Big Ten softball schedule begins Saturday with five conference series highlighting the weekend schedule. Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State and Penn State all host two-game sets this weekend.
Iowa will travel to East Lansing for a weekend with Michigan State, while a pair of ranked squads will face off in Ann Arbor when defending Big Ten Champion and second-ranked Michigan hosts No. 18 Illinois. Minnesota visits Penn State for the opening weekend, Purdue heads to Evanston to face Northwestern, and Wisconsin will be in Columbus to open the conference schedule against 22nd-ranked Ohio State.
