Cooper claims Player of the Week laurels after posting a .667 batting average and leading Northwestern to a 4-0 conference start last weekend. She tallied a 1.750 slugging percentage, while adding four doubles and three home runs. In a 16-0 win over Wisconsin on Friday, Cooper went 2-for-3 with two doubles to become the Wildcats' career leader in doubles with 40. She followed with another solid performance against the Badgers on Saturday, driving in a career-best five RBI, while homering twice and doubling in a 3-for-4 outing. Cooper finished the weekend, going 2-for-3 in a 12-2 victory over Iowa on Sunday. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native, who currently leads the team with a 13-game hitting streak, claims her third weekly accolade as she was also honored on March 20, 2006 and May 3, 2004.

Pitcher of the Week
Mariangee Bogado, Indiana

Bogado earns Pitcher of the Week accolades after posting a 4-0 record and striking out 36 batters in five appearances last week. She was pivotal in the Hoosiers' 3-1 start in league action as she opened the weekend, striking out eight in a 4-1 win over Ohio State. Bogado then led Indiana to back-to-back shutout victories over Penn State on Sunday, while fanning a total of 18 batters. The Mariana, Venezuela, native posted an impressive 0.31 ERA, giving up only one earned run and tallying 30 strikeouts in conference contests last weekend. Bogado, who earns her second Pitcher of the Week accolade as she was also honored on March 14, leads the Big Ten with 175 strikeouts this season.
