Player of the Week
Stephanie Churchwell, Northwestern 
Fr., SS, Lake Forest, Calif./El Toro
Churchwell batted 12-for-15 (.800) on the week, scoring seven runs, while also tallying two doubles and a home run with six RBI. In Sunday's doubeheader against Wisconsin, she went 7-for-8, hitting a pair of doubles, while also tallying a crucial two-run single to give the Wildcats a 3-2 victory in the second game. Churchwell, who finished the weekend with a 1.133 slugging percentage and a .813 on-base percentage, picks up her second Conference weekly honor of the season.

Lisa Birocci, Iowa 
Sr., P, Des Moines, Iowa/Lincoln
Birocci became Iowa's career strikeout leader last weekend against Northern Illinois, fanning seven of the 10 batters she faced in three innings of relief. With a total of 839 all-time strikeouts, she has surpassed former Hawkeye All-American Kristi Hanks, who tallied 815 K's in her four-year career. Birocci finished the week with a 2-0 record, striking out 28 batters and giving up only two earned runs for a 0.78 ERA.

Lorilyn Wilson, Michigan 
So., P, Salem, Ore./Sprague
Wilson gave up only one earned run in 19.1 innings pitched to finish the week with a 0.36 ERA. She tallied a 4-1 record, while striking out 23 batters and walking just one. Wilson, who currently ranks second behind only Iowa's Birocci in wins with 18, earns her third weekly accolade of the season as she was also honored on Feb. 22 and March 21.
