Just two weeks remain in the Big Ten softball season and the conference race continues to take shape. Indiana is atop the conference standings at 14-2 and is ranked No. 24 in the latest USA Softball poll. Michigan is one game back of the Hoosiers, boasting a 12-2 Big Ten mark as the nation’s second-ranked team in the USA Softball and NFCA polls. Illinois is third in the conference at 9-7, Purdue is fourth at 6-5-1, and Iowa rounds out the top five at 8-8.

With more softball games available to a national audience than any other conference, 10 Big Ten contests will be broadcast this week. Wednesday’s Big Ten Network doubleheader has both games of the Ohio State-Michigan series, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET. The network will carry Saturday’s series opener between Minnesota and Michigan at 6 p.m., finishing the week with a tripleheader on Sunday. At Noon, Ohio State hosts Michigan State, followed by Penn State at Iowa at 2 p.m., and Northwestern hosting Indiana at 4 p.m. In addition, four other games will be streamed live at www.BigTenNetwork.com this week.
