Michigan Clinches a Share of Big Ten Crown

The Wolverines sweep Ohio State to clinch a share of the Big Ten title.

Twice rallying back from early deficits, the No. 8-ranked University of Michigan softball team clinched at least a share of the Big Ten Conference title with a 6-3, 5-2 doubleheader sweep against 11th-ranked Ohio State on Wednesday evening (May 6) in front of 1,596 fans at the Wilpon Softball Complex, home of Alumni Field. The sweep improved U-M's winning streak to 20 in a row.

The regular-season title is the 12th in Wolverine program history -- at least six more than any other Big Ten school -- and the second in as many seasons.  More...
