Six Big Ten Conference softball programs will open postseason play this week, with five Big Ten schools — Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio State and Wisconsin — competing in the NCAA Tournament and Michigan State representing the conference in the inaugural National Invitational Softball Championships (NISC).
The ESPN family of networks will be televising games at all 16 NCAA Tournament regional sites, with games also available on the WatchESPN platform and through the ESPN mobile app.
Both postseason tournaments feature double-elimination formats, so additional games in each regional will be added as those dates/times/opponents are known. In addition, schedules often change on short notice, due to weather or other outside factors. Fans are advised to check each school's official athletics web site or its official social media channels for the latest schedule updates.
