Swimmer of the Week

Kaitlyn Brady, Michigan
SO, Wilmington, Del./Mount Pleasant
Brady garners Swimmer of the Week laurels after a solid meet against Illinois as the sophomore won three individual events and helped the Wolverines to two first place relay finishes.  The Wilmington, Del., native posted NCAA consideration times in the 50-yard freestyle (23.52) and 200-yard backstroke (2:01.60) in addition to winning the 100-yard back (57.26).  Brady also swam on the victorious 200-yard free and 400-yard freestyle relays that finished in 1:35.63 and 3:27.46, respectively, and the runner-up 200-yard medley relay.

This is Brady's second weekly accolade her career, as she also claimed the Nov. 16 Swimmer of the Week award.

Diver of the Week

Elyse Lee, Michigan
FR, Albion, Mich./Albion
Lee collects the first weekly diving award of her career after posting two second place finishes in a tri-meet with Illinois and Notre Dame over the weekend.  The Wolverines defeated Illinois, 204-163, and did not score against the Fighting Irish as the two teams will meet again later this month in a dual meet.  The freshman finished runner-up to a Notre Dame diver in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events with 304.50 and 465.25 points, respectively.
