Swimmer of the Week
Annica Lofstedt, Indiana

Loftstedt led the Hoosiers with four event titles, including four NCAA provisional times, in a double-dual competition against Penn State (L, 197.5-142.5) and Ohio State (W, 199-151).  Her individual victories came in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events as she touched the wall first in B-cut times of 23.48 and 50.87, respectively.  The Orebro, Sweden, native was also part of the 400-yard freestyle relay that claimed first in 3:24.70 and the second-place 400 medley relay (3:44.77) as both squads claimed "B" standards. Lofstedt also swam on the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:34.19) and the 200 medley relay (1:43.86) that recorded second-place. She has now been named Swimmer of the Week twice in her career as she was last honored on Nov. 1, 2005.

Diver of the Week
Christina Loukas, Indiana
SO, Riverwoods, Ill./Deerfield

Loukas swept the springboard competition as she defeated opponents from Penn State and Ohio State last weekend.  The defending Big Ten Diver of the Week surpassed the previous one-meter pool record as she tallied 322.20 points in the event. She went on to claim the three-meter competition with a 332.92 mark. This is the third weekly honor of her career and marks the second time this season she has been honored with teammate Annica Lofstedt.
