Swimmer of the Week

Hannah Smith, Michigan
Sr., Dexter, Mich. / Dexter

In the final home dual meet of her collegiate career, Smith tallied two event wins in a 141-102 victory over rival Notre Dame.  She started the meet by winning the 200-yard freestyle by over two seconds, touching the wall at 1:48.71.  In her second race of the afternoon, Smith mounted a come-from-behind win in the 100 freestyle, posting a time of 50.27.  Smith collects her first career weekly honor.

Diver of the Week

Amanda Lohman, Michigan
Fr., Pittsburgh, Pa. / Upper St. Clair

Lohman qualified for the NCAA Zone diving meet in both springboard events in a 141-102 home triumph over Notre Dame this past weekend.  Her scores of 291.60 off the one-meter and 298.35 from the three-meter are both career-highs.  The freshman takes home her first career Big Ten Diver of the Week accolade.
