Hoosiers and Badgers Tied After Day One at 2011 Big Ten Championships

Big Ten Swimming & Diving Championships Central

Indiana and Wisconsin jumped out to an slight lead after Wednesday's opening session at the 2011 Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. The Hoosiers and Badgers are tied with 68 team points, followed closely by Minnesota with 66. Ohio State and Purdue round out the top five with 58 and 56 points.

The Hoosiers started things off with a victory in the 800 free relay (7:01.13) while the Badgers took first in the 200 medley relay (1:36.68). Both times were good enough to qualify for NCAA consideration.
